Reference Power Cord

SKU: OE Category:

Description

Expanded-Ocean builds upon an excellent electrical design from the prior generation “Elite.”  Further reducing EMI and induction characteristics.  The sound result is smoother, linear, with frequency extension that appears to have no cap.   The job of amplification is to add electrons to a tiny complex wave.  The majority of what you hear, is composed of newly added energy.  This is why the timing  and velocity of frequency energy may affect what you experience.   When the above factors are compromised, the new electricity will not reproduce the transient response as well.  Expanded takes advantage of where and how electricity flows, to increase velocity and maintain response.  This is achieved without increasing signal retention found in poorly designed heavy gauge wire.

We utilize the best OCC copper for the load and neutral. The result is a gorgeous musical experience that the listener simply wants to stay. Our insulator achieves the highest known velocity of transfer, in addition to lowering resistance due to quick thermal dissipation.

Fitted with {Pure Copper/Gold Connectors} – Provides a consistent speed for electrons to flow throughout the cable.  Exceptional mirror grade polished finish.

*This cord can be used on nearly everything, amplifiers to source equipment.      Achieve industry leading results.  For power distribution and conditioners, please use our Mega-X PC.

– The option for upgrading the OCC ground conductor, resulted in an even more refined musical experience.  The female IEC is upgraded for over 300 degrees of potential surface contact.

Your purple power cord is so good, it sounds better than cords I’ve had that cost upwards of $2,500.00. I don’t see your cables mentioned on any of the popular audiophile forums. If word got out on Audioasylum, Audiogon, and several others, you couldn’t keep up with the demand. I am totally amazed at the cost to performance ratio.

So far, I am very impressed with the sound of this new cord. I’m assuming that it will need some more time to break in, but my amps have never sounded so good.

There are so many excellent products to chose from within this industry to support our hobby.
And so it seems almost an equal amount of snake oil.
There are so few products that actually out-perform their claims.
The Ocean Elite is truly one product that surpasses expectations.
“Hi fi” terms are inadequate to describe them.

It’s NOT better bass or treble. Not Wider or more expansive soundstage.
    It’s simply about better music.

I have been a music lover my whole life and my journey has taken me down many roads.
Your products have given my system an added sense of realism that I didn’t think was possible.
Thanks Captain, you should be proud of these cables. I am a happy customer.

Very well made, light weight and very flexible cable with high quality plugs. When combined with the ToneKraft headphone cable I noticed enhanced sound quality and smoothness. I recommend the Ocean-Elite power cable and say let Captain guide you to smoother waters too.

The Ocean Elite Power Cord was compared to cords 5 times in price and was clearly better in every way. I would recommend this product to any serious music lover

Within two hours of receiving this cord in the mail, I instantly heard the difference. The difference was in how the music settled in place, and does not feel…restricted. It is connected to a Don Sachs Model 2 tube preamplifer, and cannot wait for the Ocean Elite cord to break in. The picture blended together as it should, with the balance of the recording sounding honest, and revealing what I feel was intended. I’ve played a mid ’70s Monarch copy of Led Zeppelin I, and Peggy Lee’s live performance at Basin Street East, and so far I can’t wait to listen to more records. This purchase gives me the confidence to get the rest of my components hooked up with the Ocean Elite 2p cords. Highly recommended!

I recently purchased several of your cables from Lalit. Let me first say how transformable your cables have been my system has never sounded better it’s amazing!! Spacious holographic and just outright natural sounding. After Auditioning the power cords I proceeded to replace all the cables in my system and I couldn’t be more pleased! Definitely one of the best values in Audio! Power Cords, RCA’s, Interconnects, Xlr Balanced cables have all been replaced with Audio Envy cables. Anyone reading this should not hesitate to try them. Grateful to you! Sincerely, Charles Jones.

Here’s my second review for the P3. I originally got one for my Don Sachs model 2 preamp. Now, I have two P3s, which go from two Odyssey Khartago monoblocks. The Don Sachs and Modwright phono preamp have the P2s. Anyway, I did not think I needed to lift another veil of sound, but yes it did happen. They’re not really as broken in as I feel they should be and they have surpassed my sonic expectations. As much as I would like to keep these cables a secret, the word’s gotta get out. Hope you can make it to T.H.E. Show in Long Beach (if it happens, God willing) to thank you.

For the gauge and size I expected this cable to be stiff as heck but it’s a welcome surprise. I didn’t expect much for this price point and I certainly didn’t think power cords matter but this one is founded of the velocity of propagation principle which is solid science. The biggest change I noticed in my system with this cable plugged into my DAC is the clarity of the midrange. Vocals are so much more intelligible now and the soundstage opened up a bit. The beauty is that the frequency response is not changed in a negative way (additional warmth, etc). Try it out. You might be pleasantly surprised.

I recently purchased a new phono preamp, the Elac Alchemy PPA2.
Very nice sounding preamp and a nice match with my other components.
I have the Audio Envy power cords on my Prima Luna integrated and the power supply for my Linn turntable.
(All my other cable is Audio Envy).
The phono preamp that I replaced had a wall wart so I did not need a power cord. The Elac did have a power cord.
I didn’t think that a power cord would make any difference with a phono pre, so I just used an extra “audiophile” cord I had on hand.
After about a month or so, I felt I was still missing something. I wasn’t listening as much.
Just for the heck of it, I tried the Audio Envy from the phono power supply.
Holy crap! The difference was immediate and pretty dramatic.
The compression I was getting had disappeared.
Instruments had more space. Vocals were moved more to the front and center.
More powerful bass, elegant highs. More depth.
Sounds like I hoped it would!
    All from a power cord?
    How can it be?
I’m just glad I met Captain several years ago and that settled all my cable needs!
    Thank you Captain!

Buying an Ocean-Elite 3p for my Moon Neo Ace was my way of determining for myself if audiophile power cables actually made a difference. I was firmly on the side of the sceptics but this was relatively inexpensive so… Well, call me confounded! Better bass, better instrument placement, improved detail, better centering, more toe tapping, my ears are convinced, and that’s the only thing that counts. The electricity coming out of the business end of this cable may measure exactly the same as that from the 10$ cable that came with my Ace but, it makes my Ace sound like a curtain has lifted. Highly recommended.

It’s all about synergy. I borrowed and experimented with the Delta model of another brand, and compared it with this one. The cords by the way, were being used on a Lector CDP-7T/Mk III CD player. The competitor brand sounded like I washed out all the color of the sound, and turned up the sizzle. When I plugged in the Expanded-Ocean the music came back to its normal self and made everything right. Glad to say all of my gear is A.E. Thanks again, Captain!
