Description
ANALOGUE INTERCONNECT MATCHED PAIR
Studio Prestige Gen-11 raises the bar for reference grade signal transfer. The negative effects of R.C.L.P. filtration have been reduced to such a degree that a 3 inch direct connection was not valued over a 5ft Prestige connection. A landmark dream for the connoisseur of life like sound.
Prestige is fitted with Tellurium Copper Rca plugs, coated with antioxidant gold layer. {low mass, 1.3 capacitance design!} The expanding barrel slides on/off the female connection with ease and exacting tension.
-Thick, light and flexible, due to it’s low mass! Because mass disrupts electron flow!
Measuring a leads capacitance of 4.2pF per foot.
A dielectric constant at 1.3.
A VOP of 88% the speed of light.
This cable is fast!
***For Turntable to Phono preamp, please use our new Phone*Deluxe cable instead. ***
TECHNICAL INNOVATIONS
- Proprietary Conductors, with equal distance and spacing, each transferring the signal with maximum efficiency.
- Highly pure OCC copper removes grain boundaries that cause signal distortion. Sealed for life with our anti-corrosion technology.
- Low-D Fiber insulates every conductor, measuring at a 1.3 dielectric; decreasing electromagnetic interference and increasing the speed of transfer.
- Outer jacket allows the cable to be lighter and more flexible then extruded PVC. It looks great and serves a higher electrical purpose.
- Optimized signal flow is the cleanest path for electron resistance.
- Gold-plated copper connectors is the closest in conductivity to the base metal of brass/copper. Other metal combinations have displayed signal error.
“High resolution audio files require a pure non-compressed connection. Otherwise it becomes difficult to discern them with lower resolution files. The amount of compression we have experienced in other cable designs may explain the debating views of this topic. The Audio Envy – Prestige cable delivers a pure non-compressed signal.”

I can’t wait for audio envy cables to take off! Their product is absolutely gorgeous to my my ears. I have tried Kimber cables, Audio quest, and Anti-Cables. Audio Envy is faster smoother and still provides the beautiful blossom of music that these larger companies are known for.

After discussion with Captian, he is very knowledgeable about audio Cable and power cord. I decide to try RCA cable as my signal interconnection from DAC to Speaker. In order to having a perfect match, I also upgraded my power cable. I could hear the mid and high frequency brighter than before after I replaced their power cord. As Captain told me, Audio Quest cable has artificial mid low exaggeration, however these will go deeper in response. The sound is gorgeous from my system after using their signal cable and power cords. They really balance my system very well. Vocal is brighter than before and do not lose or too emphasize on low frequency. Highly recommend to everyone.

Hi Captian, (sorry for late reply)
Thanks for checking in! Love the cables!
History: I’ve always had a 2ch stereo set up with RE30 Cervin Vegas, and just added a sub shorly before contacting you for the cables.
I got a great deal for a LV12R Rythmik subwoofer in town that I couldn’t pass up. Wow, the sound quality was on another level than my Cerwins. I knew I should upgrade them, but couldn’t bring myself to doing that after years with them. Always loved the full sounding Cerwins in comparison to my friends satellite systems. So I thought maybe I could eek a bit more out of them if I upgraded the wires..again??? So why not, I did upgraded to analysis plus oval a couple years back and that seemed to help. Maybe a power cord upgrade? Maybe speaker wires?
I saw your reference quality Power cable on Ebay, did some research and decided to contact you directly. Very glad I did
Reference Power Cord: Installed this first. Listed to part of a song that I knew well (before installing).. then listed to it again after the install, didn’t notice a huge difference except i couldn’t stop listening. Maybe sounded more real and engaging.. hard to say, but I liked what I heard.
Speaker wire: Installed second. Really liked the quality of the wire, however this is the part I didn’t notice really any difference in SQ over my monster cable, or it was too just little to detect at the time.
RCA’s: Boom, everything came together. This is where I heard the upgrade in sound that I wanted to hear in my Cerwins. More precise sound from top to bottom. The detail came out of the woodwork. Were the Analysis Plus cables that bad, or are your prestige RCA’s that good?? Really wished I had installed the prestige RCA’s first as I know now they were what was needed most in my system. The AP’s sound muffled in comparison. Just watched Terminator 2 for the 1000th time, and I’ve never heard it sound so real and 3 denominational.
I’m guessing I’d have heard more upgrade from the power cord & speaker cable if I put on the RCAs first. But it all sounds great now so I don’t want to mess with it. However I may hit you up for a length of subwoofer interconnect cable yet as I haven’t upgraded that.

Sorry for the late reply.. Too much going on to remember to get back to you. Anyways…
I’m really enjoying the second pair of Prestige cable(s), although I haven’t hooked them to a full range source yet. Just have one in use thus far going from the receiver to my powered subwoofer. Although it sounded good with the old mid-grade RCA attached, I like the sound with the Prestige cable even more, less boomy (in a good way),, more defined bass, and I could swear it hits even lower now.
Once again a happy customer here, and I’ll likely return to buy more of your cables
Thanks again,
Ryan

Regarding the Studio Prestige interconnect cables I purchased from you
today at T.H.E Show, they sound marvelous. I auditioned them on my
headphone setup, which I consider to be a more stringent testing model than speakers. They project a strong YAT factor (“You Are There”), with
radiant high, mid, and low frequencies. These cables are more lifelike,
natural sounding, and easy to listen to than any cable I have come across so far. You were also correct in saying that these cables have “directional qualities” depending on the direction that they are connected. I took note of this factor and marked those wonderful plugs for my preferred source to amplifier.

evaluation of things audio to be more “precise” compared to speakers, but speakers are
definitely on the horizon. My go-to headphones right now are either Audio Technica ATH-W1000X’s ,
the newer AT ATH-W1000Z’s, or AKG K7XX’s. My speaker setup includes Vincent CD-S7
(hybrid CD player/tube front end), or Oppo BDP-83 Special Edition w/Modwright modification
(CD/SACD/DVD player),Vincent SV-236MK (hybrid integrated amp/tube front end), and
Wharfdale Jade 7 speakers.
Your/My SP’s are now at the residence of an audiophile friend of mine, for further evaluation.

Audio Envy produces perhaps the best value in interconnects and speaker cables I have tried in 20 years. Captain’s cables beat out the following in my system: Audioquest Colorado, Kimber PBJ and KCAG, , MIT, and Signal Cable Silver Resolution. In my system consisting of VPI Classic /Musical Fidelity Nova II/Audio Research LS27/Primaluna Prologue Monoblocs using PS Audio AC-5 power cables the Audio Envy Cables leave me with no reason to look elsewhere. If you are considering new cables do not hesitate!

Just installed the new Studio-Prestige interconnects I purchased at RMAC on the new Parasound system that I bought at the same time. The folks in Colorado especially in the Boulder, Ft. Collins areas have really made huge strides to provide the best in home audio.(Audio Envy, Ft Collins Audio, Ayre, Boulder Amplifiers). I changed out the Audioquest interconnects from my old system to my new VPI Classic 2 turntable to my new Parasound JC3+ phono preamp. The difference is incredible. Thank you Captain, for taking the time to talk to me and my son at the show. I look forward to trying your other products in the future.

Hi, AE. I received the Studio Prestige ICs today and inserted them in my system. The 6 foot pair have gone from the preamp outputs into the JL Audio e110 subwoofer’s inputs. The 3 foot pair have gone between a Magnum Dynalab MD-102 tuner and a BAT VK-3i preamplifier. These ICs are really incredible; I mean that sincerely. Their effect on different components is, well, “different.” They address immediately the needs of each piece of equipment, almost as if by electrical intuition. Strange, I know, but that’s my conclusion. Right out of the box, the ICs going to the subwoofer have provided the significant gravitas that I’ve been looking for in that area. Bass is extremely deep and palapable. I can now enjoy my subwoofer in the way I have always expected. Also right out of the box, the ICs going from the tuner to the preamp have provided a wonderful, smooth clarity on the top end without shrillness or sibilance. Instruments sound very realistic (being a musician, I know what instruments should sound like), and soundstaging has obvious height, width and depth. If I have one recomendation, it is that the flow arrows and AE logo display in the same direction, I think you have a real winner in the Studio Prestige cables from both a sound and construction perspective.
My other current cables are Cardas Golden Reference. They blend very well with the AE cables. I think the audio community at large should be aware of your great product.

I just bought my fourth pair of Studio Prestige interconnect cables! I am very pleased with the immediate improvement in sound and can’t wait for these to break in as well. Less is more!! Captain’s cables allow the sound to open up and let my system perform to its fullest potential. Thank you for the great service!

I’ve always believed that cables could make a difference to sound but had never heard a real difference perhaps because I had quite good cables in my system. But I recently purchased Studio Prestige to connect my tube preamp to my tube amp and discovered a noticeable improvement in clarity and balance. My two-way speakers are especially beautiful in the mid range but also provide good bass in the 40-60 Hz range and these cables easily accommodate the music.

If your looking for any cables just give these guys a call. I have bought cables before from them and their build quality is superior and the price is right. They custom built a mini to rca for my meridian dac. I can not believe what this simple upgrade has done to my mqa quality. This cable alone has made me think now of their other cables. .cant wait

Bar none my fav rca cables to use. I have used plenty mid-fi brands and audioenvy are by far my personal choice. I am even using them in a car enviroment with mcintosh amplifiers. So nice and true sounding. I have finally found a keeper when it comes to rca interconnects.

The Studio Prestige interconnect was compared to cables 5 times the cost and was superior in every way. For serious music lovers only.

I know that price shouldn’t come into it, but since buying the prestige I have tried quite a few other interconnects, (some more expensive), but I always come back to these. You have to wonder that if Cap charged more for these then they would be taken more seriously. Best kept secret in the business.

Very impressed by the Studio-Prestige IC. It transformed the sound of my vinyl rig (Townshend Rock 3 / OL Onyx / Cartridge Man Music Maker 3) when placed after my Blue Circle phono stage. Bloom, warmth and an organic quality with no loss of detail or softening of transients. Opened up the stage. Natural, sophisticated and refined, really pulls you into the music for long listening sessions. Isn’t this what we want from our vinyl rigs?! Thanks Captain, for making available a great product at sane prices. Highly recommended!

These Prestige ics are something special. As another customer said – refined and organic.Combined with two of the Ocean Elite pcs my system is killer. The two products work together as a ‘team’ and after a few days of noodling around I found the right placement for each cable and it was like getting the perfect focus on a camera.Perfect and immediately apparent. All of my components are tubed except the transport. The Ocean pcs did best on the dac and pre.The amp and transport are happy with their old silver pcs.The Prestige ics are used throughout.I have no nits to pick. From the highest highs to the lowest bass there is no glare or harshness.Just layers and layers of detail, articulation, and dynamics.

Talked to Captain Payne & ordered a pair of prestige IC with Tellurium connectors & a pair of Neastian 5.3 XLR just received them today . I took the Prestige IC & connected them to a Schiit gungnir DAC with my QuickSilver reference class HP tube amp mostly used by others for studio monitoring recordings & my Audeze LCD -X ! what a surprize ! huge soundstage ! very linear response heard things not heard before very lively and fast , although so far I have not listened to the XLR ( which are in my High end system between Don Sachs 2 tube pre-amp & PS audio Directstream DAC not sure about the quality of the XLR connectors maybe because I am used to heavy Furutech CF 600 series & WBT high end connectors well see when I listen to the music 2mrw. my other gripe is I wish captain would color code the XLR’s even cheap XLR have color codes ( red /white etc)

I wasn’t expecting such a dramatic improvement in my system. Wider soundstage, cleaner sound, much more resolving power. You hear things in the recording that you never noticed before. The improvements were immediate and not subtle at all. Highly recommended!

Equipment used with the Prestige cables: VPI Classic with Lyra Delos to a Modwright SWP 9.0 phono preamp.
Right out of the box, the Prestige cables gave the other broken in cables (DH Labs Silver Sonic II) a run for the money. Not to say the aforementioned cables were bad, but they added their own sound to the records. With the latter, the music finally gets to speak for itself. There is also an added bonus that the more I turn up the volume, the fatigue is not there like before. The music settles in place, and the instruments in the mix are no longer etched, but stand out as they should according to my ears. On a sidenote, I had faith in these cables as I first purchased a pair of NV-SP7 speaker cables for my Revel F206 floorstanders. From here, it’s time to add to the power cables as there has been noticeable improvement in sound with the addition of an Ocean Elite 3p cord to my Don Sachs M2 preamp; In due time of course, God willing! Thanks for the awesome cables Audio Envy!

I bought these out of curiosity, but like everything about them. Out of the box they sounded veiled, but they soon opened up and began to shine. Before long they seemed more musical than the old wires I had been using. They are detailed, fast and smooth to my ear. Build quality seems good. I am very pleased.

I recently purchased several of your cables from Lalit. Let me first say how transformable your cables have been my system has never sounded better it’s amazing!! Spacious holographic and just outright natural sounding. After Auditioning the power cords I proceeded to replace all the cables in my system and I couldn’t be more pleased! Definitely one of the best values in Audio! Power Cords, RCA’s, Interconnects, Xlr Balanced, Speaker cables have all been replaced with Audio Envy cables. Anyone reading this should not hesitate to try them. Grateful to you! Sincerely, Charles Jones.

Just replaced all the cables in my Sennheiser HD800S/Woo Audio WA2/Schiit Audio Yggdrasil rig with the complete Audio Envy flotilla…Studio Prestige interconnects, Ocean-Elite 3P power cords, ToneKraft headphone cable and Audio Envy coax. So THIS is what my gear is supposed to sound like !!!!! Captain, I owe you sir !!!

I have a simple, but highly musical, holographic and resolving all digital streaming system. I’ve tinkered with various “premium” priced cables throughout the experimental process of putting my system together and fine tuning it. I bi-amp from one 4-channel chasis, so I use a Y configured RCA cable set up to feed 4 channels from the 2 channels out of my dac/preamp. Captain had no problem with a custom Y configuration order. Even though I was happy with my top level anticables, which had clearly bested Audioquest Yukons, based on the emphatic reviews/price ratio, I figured I’d give the Studio Prestige a shot at the title.
Ultimately, I’ve been looking for one reasonably priced go to cable manufacture that was punching above its weight.
I concluded the Studio Prestige was besting the 2.5X in price anticables within the first 15 minutes of listening. I was particularly smitten with the not subtle improvements I was hearing in imagining within the soundstage. I hear my components being maxed out, and that is really what cables should be doing, liberating component performance. It feels like a component upgrade.
I have found the only cable manufacturer I will ever need. Forget good for the money. Audio Envy RCA’a (and I imagine all their cables/I know their powers do) compete with the most upper crust price brackets. They will outperform or equal whatever you are using for a fraction of the price. Stop the cable exhibition to nowhere. You have found a home.

I waited until , I had over 500 hours to post a statement. Let me say these interconnects replaced my Morrow Ma6 . They will sound good out the box just keep playing these Studio Prestige interconnects.

I followed the advices from Stirling Trayle and Roy Gregory from the Audiobeat Magazine ( they are audio optimizer ) you better to not mismatched company cables with other or you will loose balance. I am happy that I followed that advice and bought AE Speaker cables ( for PSE 144 horns they have 4 mids and 1 compression driver each ), 4 RCAs and 4 AC cables. They really sound amazing and don’t feel the need to replace them. Everything is balanced, natural, transparent without emphasis on anything.
