Description
We are excited to announce the release of our Newton 2.0 USB cable!
I have worked on this cable concept for roughly 6 years. Early on it showed benefits. However, introducing real electrical improvements doesn’t guarantee that the time domain tuning will line up with what most systems and ears can appreciate. After much work, we believe that our Newton provides a measurable improvement and a sound that we can fall in love with.
It is a mainstay in creating a better performing usb cables by isolating the power carrier from the signal. However we have taken it to the next level, with increased EMI mitigated isolation!
Audio Envy’s approach allows the electrical field to extend into the digital frequency spectrum with minimal loss and or alteration to linear response. Providing exceptionally low jitter, while improving time domain alignment. Our solution offers the industries lowest signal retention of any known USB. The result is a rich even sound, that feels analogue, yet precise with macro detail. A perception of multiple colors, tones, wet and dry are depicted from the original recording, where as a typical USB imprints a dark compressed signature over your music.
This cable has been tested for 24 bit 96 kilohertz operation. This is the industry standard for high resolution audio in which most high end recording studios use this sample bit and hertz. Ensure that both your streamer and your dac are set to this frequency, or lower If that’s its appropriate compatibility.
*There is not a magical length that improves the impedance. AE testing along side with scientific data demonstrates that such a metric only increases possibilities for bit error. For manufacturers claiming such, this might be a case study for their particular design, but most likely founded on a subjective opinion of sound characteristics, including more jitter and not less:()

Outstanding performance, outstanding price. Improved over my old USB cable in every way- even though my old USB cable was also OCC copper. The architecture, shielding, and insulation matter too. I’m sure there are better USB cables out there but for $250 this is a super high impact way to dramatically improve your sound if you must use USB. Zero harshness, lots of texture, great macrodynamics. Extremely enjoyable to listen to. I give this cable my highest recommendation.
