Description
Mega delivers 20amps of power! Specifically designed for power distribution centers.
The New Mega-X Gen-11 is now available! March 2024
The Romex that feeds the electricity in most homes will correspond a tonal response that perceptually looks like a bell curve. This is due to how the frequencies propagate in time and collect more energy emphasis in the low-mid range spectrum. The new Mega-X begins the transition to flatten that bell curve out. Intentionally, it doesn’t go all the way. Because it is gradually re-aligning the wave propagation, while bringing it up to speed; similar to what an on-ramp might do for a highway. After this process, the Expanded-Ocean power cord will redistribute and further even out the frequency spectrum. The benefit to doing it this way is three fold. We can finally offer everybody an electrically neutral starting point. 🙌 This is a big deal! Every builder, designer and lover of music can start their system building process knowing that it’s not going to lean muddy or bright. The second benefit is in the tonal body of sound, as more filled out, seemingly smooth and percussive. The image resolution will extend further in all directions. The third benefit is using the appropriate amount of low resistance for the application needed, so that we do not compromise the voltage push. With each stage of our technological approach, all the way to the speaker we are preventing reflections. The signal ramps up to speed and does not slow down on our accord, which in turn, minimizes reflections in the electrical wave.
Using the Mega directly to an amplifier or source gear would not be my first recommendation.
However, there will be folks and setups that like this type of sound. It’s a cohesive sound with increased mid low body. It’s a step closer to the articulated edge. In my system, It faired out better than expected with quality recordings. However the Expanded Ocean allowed more finance with a softer headroom of distance from the preverbal edge.
~We have not made a price increase on this first run of Mega-X. The reason is that the cosmetic lay of the cable has a wave to the shape. While the cable is not stiff, it is stiffer then what the next batch should provide. At that time, there will be a price increase. There is no known compromise in the performance either way. If the cord is mostly hidden behind a rack, it might be indifferent.🙃
CUSTOM LENGTHS, 20amp connectors, Schuko and Europe Connectors ARE AVAILABLE. Please Email us. Due to the extensive time and material the Mega is 25% restock to non refundable.

I am from Argentina. I found out about this brand on an Audiogon forum. All the cables I bought are superlative. Audio Envy features are neutral, natural, musical and fluid with lots of detail.
But this Mega 10 gen. looks like the culmination of all Audio Envy cables. I bought it for the Shunyata Triton power distributor. The previous cable was Shunyata Cobra Ztron. When I put this cable on, it seems like the whole rig comes to life with tons of detail so effortlessly. Only admiration for this man of great cable. The only disadvantage (I don’t know if it would be a defect) is that Mr. Captain has so much passion for audio fidelity and finds something better in the development of the cable and brings out a new model. In Argentina it is challenging to upgrade or resell cables (it is a very bureaucratic society). It seems to me that the Audio Envy cables are a cable that I would have to try on each component.
Cables tested against Audio Envy, AQ blizzard power cord, AQ Volcano, Transparent Reference. .etc. All are vastly outclassed by Audio envy

Switched from using the Pangea AC-9 to the Mega and INSTANTLY noticed a difference in efficiency and speed. Details and clarity (and things I had never heard before) were now coming out of my Cayin HA-6A making it the powerful amp I knew it could be. Trust me, if you think there’s just “something missing” from your system, switch to Audio Envy power cables – you’ll be glad you did.

I followed the advices from Stirling Trayle and Roy Gregory from the Audiobeat Magazine ( they are audio optimizer ) you better to not mismatched company cables with other or you will loose balance. I am happy that I followed that advice and bought AE Speaker cables ( for PSE 144 horns they have 4 mids and 1 compression driver each ), 4 RCAs and 4 AC cables. They really sound amazing and don’t feel the need to replace them. Everything is balanced, natural, transparent without emphasis on anything.
