When selecting the length it is better to be a 1/4″ longer than short. If it has to be short, than go no less than 1/4″ short to have the outer U tips grab enough post.

It is important to not confuse the above principle with speaker wire design. While great attributes are equally desirable, the considerations for induction, capacitance and skin effect are going to take priority when considering speaker cable length & design. Hence the reason to use these Custom Jumpers instead of speaker wire or the stock jumpers of comparatively poor performance.
