It is common for folks to create a shopping list gravitated around what the industry or self experience has allocated as a benefit. I am writing this blog to connect with those folks and extend knowledge of affective cable design. Audio Envys methodology is HIGH EFFICIENCY; as removing each known deterrent in which the energy […]

Thoughts about bass
Audio Envy’s efforts are to maintain a full body of sound with smooth dynamic extension. What makes our cable special is that the bass is fast and rich in layers, extending into the room, keeping better pace with the mid frequencies. -Sometimes listeners confuse rich layers with lack of articulation- Nothing about our design prevents […]
CABLE BURN-IN
On a regular basis I swap out fresh AE cables and they immediately sound great! However, near perfection requires a tad of patience. This is partly because our design is low in signal retention, and mimics the linear wave structure. Therefore, with good recordings it’s pleasant from the get go! With continued use the sound […]
Over the years I’ve witnessed a plethora of information about cables and how much they cost to manufacture. I’d like to share my stats with the experience of actually doing it, because most online opinion is based upon extrapolated assumptions. let’s cover those assumptions by taking this oddity to something you can palate. The cheapest hamburger you can get cost one dollar. Millions of people believe it’s delicious. I myself might even partake, if it wasn’t for the unfavorable way I feel afterward. When it comes to cables many people haven’t got past that one dollar hamburger. However when the listening health side effects overtake them, they simply reduce or stop listening. Perhaps there’s a reason older people love music, but stop listening. There is extrapolated assumption as to doubling the price might equal twice as good. But I ask you, “How many two dollar hamburgers have you consumed that you felt quantitatively awesome about?” So cost, nourishment, and taste are separate facets. Now I’ve had some pretty good hamburgers that were $6-8 but my absolute favorite hamburger of all time is $13.50 it was made in a small butcher deli shop. They had a strong control over the quality of meat, how it was processed and where it came from; a cumulative effort that all of the other hamburgers seem to lack. Since were talking about food I know that most people in America have went out to dinner and probably spent more money on a meal, then they have ever considered spending on a cable. Let’s examine the balance of this logic. In one hand we may enjoy music on a higher level of expression, On the other hand feeding is necessity. Music might last you a lifetime, the other goes to poo! Is there a catch? of course, nobody can force you to make a smart buying decision. Well darn it. I believe I’m going to have to do a series of posts, to get to my main topic. So until next time enjoy the beautiful spring.
Part two; What does lossy cables cost to manufacture?
For this next part you’ll have to forgive any facetious writing. Cheap cable Manufacturer is highly efficient, from years of perfecting it’s method. Offering many satisfactory uses. In my experience, Audio just isn’t one of them. lets use speaker wire as our example. If you want to put a name on a cable it’s pretty […]
